Under The Guise's Heidi Jewell Joins Forces with NPT for New Online Series

One of our favorite local fashionistas, Under The Guise curator and NYLON magazine Nashville editor Heidi Jewell, has partnered with Nashville Public Television for a new online series, "You Ought To Know Nashville."

Jewell will serve as host and producer of the series, which launches July 15th and will be available on multiple online channels including PBS.org, the NPT Media Update Blog (wnpt.org/mediaupdate or youtube.com/wnptvideos), and undertheguise.com.

The series is a collaboration between videographer/editor Jeremy Adams, music supervisor Zack Wilson, NPT producer Linda Wei, and NPT director of media relations and online strategies Joe Pagetta, who will serve as executive producer.

The episodes, which will run roughly five minutes each, will cover all things Nashville, from restaurants to fashion, from breweries to music venues, all offered through Jewell's perspective. If you're a fan of Jewell's work — remember her awesome Modcloth contribution from last fall? — you know that she'll do us right.

Here's a little tidbit from Jewell from the press release, released this morning:

The first episode will feature hot chicken mecca Prince's and the recently opened Husk, and new content will be up every two weeks. Follow NPT and Under The Guise on Twitter to stay in the loop. And hey, if there's something you want to see on the show, let them know!
