Photos from The Spectacular Printacular at Barista Parlor

If you judge an art event by the quality of its work, The Nashville Print Revival was a landslide success. But if you're more likely to look at numbers and count how many people showed up to gauge an event's success, you'd come to the same conclusion.

Saturday evening's Spectacular Printacular at Barista Parlor was particularly well-attended, packed so full that it felt more like I was making my way through a crowded club than an art opening. Sam's Myth, Isle of Printing, Kangaroo Press, Boss Construction, Hatch Show Print, Platetone Printshop, Emily Leonard, and many, many more were set up with some of their best prints, screenprinted T-shirts, and information. I heard more than one person comment that they'd hoped the Printacular would become an annual occasion, and I can't imagine that the success of the event will go unrecognized.

Scene photog Eric England was on hand to document the night's activities. More photos after the jump.
