It's Back: Fashion For a Fraction!

Posted By on Fri, Jan 11, 2013 at 4:00 PM

Despite the balmy temperatures, we still have a couple more months of winter to endure, which means you need some solid indoor activities.

Before you get all depressed about two more months of winter — that damn groundhog usually lies, by the way — think of it as more time to wear all of the awesome discounted fall/winter clothing you can buy right now. Because we'll do anything to avoid the swimsuit section that has already popped up in departments stores and Targets across the city, right?

If you're in the mood to shop the winter blues away, we invite you to the upcoming Fashion For a Fraction, hosted by the Nashville Scene and Nfocus Magazine. FFF will feature local boutiques (list below) who will have plenty of deeply discounted denim, clothing, handbags, jewelry and accessories to tempt you with.

Participating boutiques include Hemline, Thompson Fifteen, Smack, Monkee's, Barton Perreira, The French Shoppe, Habit, Snap, Johnnie Q, Stella & Dot, Kendal and Studded.

Fashion For a Fraction will be held in the Hillsboro High School gymnasium (that's at 3812 Hillsboro Road) on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased here or at the door, and proceeds benefit Monroe Harding.

Warning: We ladies can get a little excited at these kinds of things, but unlike some flash sales, there will be dressing rooms, so no need to drop trou in the middle of the room or run around barefoot. Although I'm not going to stop you.
