Is it just us, or are we looking particularly fabulous here in Nashville lately?
First, The Sartorialist visits us, hangs at Parnassus, posts awesome photos of stylish Nashvillians.

Then, game-changing philanthropic eyewear company Warby Parker spends an extended vacation here on their Road Trip.

On Sunday, we were treated to a conversation between Vogue's legendary creative director Grace Coddington and our favorite supermodel Karen Elson at The Frist. Coddington, who recently released her stunning self-titled memoir, recalled stories of her first photo shoot (nude!) and working with the famous Prada-wearing devil all fashionistas know and love. The people-watching was almost as good as the convo; my favorite was this girl wearing the most amazing matte blue lipstick and some sort of head ornamentation that looked like an Amish bonnet fashioned out of hot pink Christmas decorations. Girl, whoever you are, you stepped it up and we noticed. We just should have taken your photo.
Clearly, Vogue can't get enough of us, because contributing editor Mr. Andre Leon Talley will bestow his presence upon us on Thursday. Talley, who is making the rounds with the recently released book, Vogue: The Editor's Eye, will hold a private luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 6, at Nordstrom at The Mall at Green Hills. If you weren't lucky enough to score an invite to that, Talley will be the special guest at a fashion show that evening, also at Nordies, at 7 p.m. (cocktails at 6:30). RSVP ASAP at nordstromevent@vogue.com.
