Visual Art Studio Visit: Amelia Garretson-Persans [AOTM]

What do Lynda Barry, Chris Ware, Kate Bush and The Supremes have in common? November's artist of the month Amelia Garretson-Persans, apparently. The East Nashville-based artist's studio is filled with tiny relics that show her affinity to strong women, sketchy psychedelic art (I'm thinking Raymond Pettibon and Charles Burns) and mysticism.
