We can give you about six reasons you shouldn't miss Anything Goes when the touring version of the Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony-winning 2011 Broadway revival steams into port tonight in TPAC's Jackson Hall: "It's De-Lovely," "Friendship," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "You're The Top," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow," and the title song, which posits that "Good authors too who once knew better words / Now only use four-letter words / Writing prose / Anything goes."
There are more where that came from — the elevated and playfully risqué mind of Cole Porter, who supplied this frothy shipboard romance with a trunkload of numbers that range from irresistibly silly to sublime. (Songs have been added, dropped and shuffled over the years.) The production runs through Sunday at TPAC, and tickets range from $15 to $70, depending on day and time; check here for show times and ticket information.
