If you get out and about in Nashville, you've likely had your photo taken by Hunter Armistead. But the man behind the lens — and those fab red pants — has another visual treat for your consideration.
The Nashville-based portrait and fine art photog is making is maiden trip into video and installation with his exhibit Voyager: A Space in Time, which is currently at the Parthenon Museum in Centennial Park. This multimedia exhibit includes photography on resin, video and illustrations that were specifically created for the Parthenon's space.
Armistead, whose work has been published in The New York Times, The Huffington Post and Southern Living, will hold a viewing tonight from 5:30 to 7:30. Admission is free and open to the public, and we hear that there will be wine! This is the Parthenon, after all.
The exhibit runs until September 5, and the Parthenon Museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
