You look healthy, well rested and untroubled. Here's what you can do to correct that: Sign up for the 48 Hour Film Project a little more than a week away. Not only has Nashville's annual running of the reels become a yearly battle for bragging rights among local film professionals and enthusiasts, the resulting films have gone on to subsequent lives on the festival circuit, in Nashville and beyond.
Today is the last day teams can sign up at the discount rate of $160. Afterward, the entry fee goes up to $175. The ground rules are: Teams have exactly 48 hours to write, shoot, complete and hand in a short film, based on a genre drawn at the kickoff Friday, July 13 (lucky you). Each team must include a common prop, character and line of dialogue, or else instant disqualification.
