What do you get when you join striking physical acrobatics, traditional dance and spectacular costumes with ancient and contemporary music? (No, this is not a “your mama” joke.) You get the award-winning Golden Dragon Acrobats! These trained performers are recognized as today’s premier Chinese acrobatic touring company, and members begin their training with precise bodily movements when they are very young.
The Golden Dragon Acrobats began more than 25 centuries ago, and this particular company has been around since 1967. Danny Chang and choreographer Angela Chang worked collectively to bring champion acrobats, contortionists and jugglers together to take your breath away in a performance that brings 2,000 years of Chinese tradition into a tremendous demonstration of skill and poise.
