Film NaFF 2012: Tamiko Robinson Channels Ozu in Late Summer

The trailer for Ernie Park's drama Late Summer looks gorgeous: the idea of an African American updating of the piercing domestic dramas of Yasujiro Ozu, coupled with gifted Nashville stage actress Tamiko Robinson before the camera (and local actor-playwright-director Shawn Whitsell on hand as co-producer), makes this one of the most promising features screening tonight. It's showing one time only, 5:30 p.m.
