Bullies. Pits. Peteys. Little Rascals. Junkyards. Staffs. Call them what you want, but call them America’s dogs. Born and bred in the U.S.A. And ain’t it time to bring them home. Misunderstood. Chained and “Vick-ed" by some. Projected on the big screen as mean. Any dog can be man-made mean, but these guys are born innocent. Fact: Pits are tractable, loving, quiet in the home, intelligent, and without a doubt the most endearing of all breeds. They crave to be by your side doing whatever you do. Watching football, gardening, in the car, at your feet, in the bed, and especially in the kitchen, Bullies are there helping out. Little Rascals? They love and adore kids. They are kids themselves, always one step ahead, figuring schemes and angles to please and make you laugh. Born comics. Born athletes. America’s utility dog.
Call for Action: For the first time ever, the Williamson County Shelter is campaigning Bullies in a unique way. Owner/volunteers are opening their homes to YOU to come visit a dog where they live. Meet an owner and observe Bullies in their own environment. Volunteers are so passionate about the breed they are opening their homes to you. No strings attached. Bring your kids or bring a date or bring your mama. We want to spread the word and love.
