One of the best things about writing about art on the Internet is all the great visual components you can fold into your stories. This week's Scene cover story is no exception.

On Country Life, I've got studio visit posts with several of the artists mentioned, including Bryce McCloud, Lesley Patterson-Marx, Ryan Nole, Andy Vastagh and Mark Hosford. Hosford was our artist of the month for March, so there are a few entries that dig deep into his work, its influences and inspirations.

The making of what is possibly my favorite cover ever is documented right here in this slideshow of photographs Bryce McCloud took of his process.

And after the jump, check out Ryan Nole making some prints on his 1965 Heidelberg letterpress. It's called a windmill letterpress, and if you watch this video you'll see why.
