Visual Art Studio Visit: Mark Hosford

OK, so these are photographs of Mark Hosford's office at Vanderbilt and not the printmaking studio, which is down the hall. But come on, when was the last time you saw an office filled with so much great stuff? Mark has one of the coolest collections ever — dog food cans from around the globe. From around the globe. I can't even think about it without getting wide-eyed. He also has a Kit-Cat clock AND a cuckoo clock, a tissue box decorated with a babydoll head and some fur, and a Javanese shadow puppet.
He's Country Life's artist of the month, so we're extra-proud of these shots. Look for a post about Mark's inspirations and influences later this week.
