Ever see or touch a greyhound? Wow. Ever see one run? Double wow. My first time? Petsmart. I melted. An indescribable visceral experience. In your home? Army, a stunning brindled example of the breed, will keep you mystified, as he lies in repose, sublimely stretched, doe-eyed and beautiful. Greyhounds are living sculpture. And like his comrades he is most happy when napping. In retirement greyhounds require a leash and crave a 20-minute walk-and-sniff outing. Gentle and lazy (but what hound isn’t), greyhounds are the consummate buddy dog. Our local Greyhound Pets of America-Nashville has home-ready hounds waiting to flop and be adored.
