Margarita Fest Adds Zest to the Gulch

Posted By on Wed, May 14, 2014 at 4:41 PM

We love a friendly competition, especially when it involves tequila. Join the judging panel at the Scene’s annual Margarita Festival, which takes over the block between The Pub and Bar Louie in the Gulch this Friday, May 16.

In addition to sampling margaritas from a variety of local outposts including Bar Louie, Boca Loca, Salsa, Taco Mamacita, The Local Taco, Cantina Laredo, Sopapilla’s, Two Bits and Tin Roof, you get to vote for your favorite, which will be revealed at the end of the evening.

Not into tequila? No worries — there’s a bar where alternatives will be available for purchase, and food from Gulch-area restaurants Burger Republic, Salsa and The Pub, along with locally made Ousley Ouch Salsa. Obviously, this is a 21+ event, and your ticket includes margarita and food samples.

Tickets are $30 and available here.
