April 5 is the date for this year's East Nashville Beer Festival put on by Rhizome Productions. In just a few years of existence, the ENBF has already become one of the most popular beer tastings in town, thanks to the well-managed crowds of brew enthusiasts who genuinely take interest in the artisan craft brewers in attendance. So, basically, this thing sells out fast.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 28, at 9 a.m. on the event website, so don't say we didn't warn you. There are several different levels of ticketing, ranging from beer-only to food pairing or designated driver options. A new addition this years is the ENBF Filling Station ticketing option, where starting at 3 p.m., Feb. 28, you will be able to purchase the Filling Station Growler ticket at the Filling Station in East Nashville ONLY. These cash-only tickets will be $70 and will include access to the festival, a custom ENBF growler, including one growler fill that you can redeem after the festival. There are only 150 of these tickets available, and they can be purchased only at the Filling Station, first come first serve! In addition, 10% off growler fill deals will be going on at the Filling Station during the sale.

A sad note: this year's ENBF will be dedicated to the memory of Curtis McArthur, who passed away late last year in a tragic accident. McArthur was a representative of Sweetwater Brewing Co. and a favorite in the Nashville craft beer community, as well as a fixture at festivals and tasting events. Pour one out for Curtis ...
