"Something close to tears ensued after the first batch of brew began fermentation this past Saturday," the brewery reports.
The beers they expect to brew up over the next couple weeks include Southern Wit, Extra Easy Ale, Basil Ryeman, Cutaway IPA and Country Roo. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter for updates on where and when the beers will be available around town.
In addition, they say they hope to open the Tennessee TapRoom around late September, and they're looking for help: "Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with 'EMPLOYMENT' as the subject if you're interested in joining our team. We'll begin interviews as early as next week."
Tennessee Brew Works is in a former printing warehouse at Ewing Avenue and Fogg Street, just blocks from two other craft breweries, Jackalope and Yazoo. There are hopes that the area will become a "brewers row," conveniently located within walking distance from the new Music City Center.
