Enjoy a Whiskey Weekend at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel

Posted By on Wed, Jul 17, 2013 at 7:41 AM

If you're looking for a staycation opportunity, the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel has a great idea for you. Taking advantage of the recent fascination with all things whiskey, they have created "Whiskey Weekends," a chance to enjoy a two-night stay at the property accompanied with a behind-the-scenes tour of some of Nashville's newest distilleries.

With the recent remodeling of both Mason's Bar and Mason's Restaurant, Loews has introduced a nice whiskey motif to their decor and menus. The new cocktail list features many products from local distilleries ad might just prompt you to see where these are made. Now here's your chance.

According to the Loews Facebook page:

Experience the art of distilling with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Nashville's notable distilleries: SPEAKEasy Spirits, featuring Whisper Creek and Collier and McKeel Handcrafted Tennessee Whiskey, Corsair Artisan Distillery and Popcorn Sutton's Tennessee White Whiskey.

Your 2-night stay at Loews Vanderbilt also includes two complimentary libations in Mason's Nashville, Nashville's newest late-night spot. On Saturday afternoon, they'll take care of the transportation on the 4-hour distillery tour.

The package, with rates starting as low as $319, includes a two-night weekend stay in a luxurious room at the newly renovated Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, plus two complimentary libations in Nashville’s newest late-night spot, Mason Bar. On Saturday afternoon, guests will be whisked away on an exclusive distillery excursion where they will get to tour the distilleries with expert distillers and sample local, top-shelf spirits at select locations. Guests will also receive a swag bag filled with mementos from each distillery including t-shirts, a shot glass, treats from Bang Candy Company and more, plus a bottle of whiskey to take home.

Sounds like fun to me! The available weekends for Whiskey Weekends are: July 19-21, Aug. 9-11, Sept. 6-8 and Oct. 11-13. To learn more or to make your reservation for a weekend of whisky and fun, visit the hotel's website.
