Mangia! with Nashville Shakes on the Eve of the Ides of March

Posted By on Thu, Feb 14, 2013 at 5:44 AM

While I'm excited about the fact that Mangia in Franklin is staging a benefit dinner for the Nashville Shakespeare Festival on March 14, it would be even cooler thematically if their production in Centennial Park was either Julius Caesar or something Italian like Two Gentleman of Verona or Merchant of Venice. But it's hard to complain about Midsummer Night's Dream, which should rock!

If you have already experienced the full evening of fun that is a night at Mangia, then you know what a blast this benefit dinner will be. If you haven't, now is a perfect opportunity to check out Nick Pellegrino and his merry cast of fellow kitchen staff at Mangia.

Here are all the details if you want to join the party:

Named “Nashville’s Best Weekly Food Event” by the Nashville Scene (yay, us!), Mangia Nashville is about to become the Shakespearean event of the year as chef Nick Pellegrino creates a special five-course meal to benefit the Nashville Shakespeare Festival.

Don't miss this opportunity to to meet and feast with fellow diners and Shakespeare fans — while dancing and singing along to Italian American classics.
