) hs teamed up with her husband, Taylor Hackbarth, to publish Breakfast for Dinner: Recipes for Frittata Florentine, Huevos Rancheros, Sunny-Side-Up Burgers, and More!
Landis previously published The Cookie Dough Lover's Cookbook
, which helped us all unabashedly (and safely) enjoy our raw cookie dough. With Breakfast for Dinner
, she and Hackbarth legitimize another of our guilty pleasures. While the recipes are a bit more complicated than a bowl of Golden Grahams (a favorite dinner of mine from my single days), they're not overly fussy while still being quite elegant. Recipes include a grapefruit risotto, cornmeal pancakes with beer-braised short ribs, and pizza "over easy."
The authors will be appearing at Parnassus Books at 6:30 p.m. this Tuesday, Feb. 12, in conjunction with the book's release. They'll be there to sign copies in addition to serving samples of recipes from the book as well as other snacks for the event.
