The dinner, set for Thursday, Nov. 29, at Myint's restaurant Cha Chah, will be a benefit for the hunger-fighting, healthy-food-serving folks at the Nashville Food Project. It's $40 per person for three courses served family-style, and you're encouraged to bring in groups of four people to dine. Popular local food blogger Beth Sachan will share host duties, and Aleksey's Wines will handle the beverages.
We learned last week that Cha Chah will close at the end of the year, though Myint plans to eventually launch a new concept in the Belmont Boulevard spot. (Sister restaurant PM will continue to operate a couple doors down on the block, and of course, Myint's mom, Patti, operates the venerable International Market across the street.)
In addition to his fame as Top Chef: D.C. winner, Sbraga is the owner of Sbraga restaurant, which serves modern American cuisine on Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts.
