Wine Wine Wednesday: No Boys Allowed Edition

Champagne and Chardonnay is a fundraiser put on by the Nashville Wine Auction that is a ladies-only event. Women band together to raise money to help fight cancer while they enjoy wine, festivities and a sparkling auction. The party is 6 to 8:30 p.m. this Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the home of Janice McCord at 6123 Hillsboro Road. (Don't worry about finding a parking spot on Hillsboro Road, as valet parking will be available.)
Sounds like the food, wine and the setting will be extra-special. From the event blog: "While guests indulge in Champagne and chardonnay provided by the Wine Shoppe at Green Hills and savory hors d’oeuvres by Miel Restaurant, they will delight in the new fall season on the beautiful terrace surrounding the pool."
Tickets are $100 per person, and of course, the event benefits the fight against cancer.

This is the second iteration of this event, and from all accounts last year's was one heckuva good time. I guess that's what happens when you keep us stupid boys away from a party.
