The event will be held in Las Vegas Nov. 1-4, (Food? Vegas? You know I'll be there), and in addition to the Chef Challenge, it will feature competitions to crown the best in barbecue, chili, burgers, side dishes and sandwiches. Contestants qualify for the WFC by winning any of multiple qualifying competitions throughout the year, and the winners of the various categories will come together to present one perfect bite for judges at "The Final Table" for a piece of $75,000 in prize money. The judging panel will be headed by celebrity gourmand Adam Richman, who will also serve as the host of the entire weekend.

Imagine some of the world’s greatest trained chefs gathering in one place to show off their culinary talent — in a competition-style, LIVE head-to-head event! Sound appetizing? We thought so! That's why the World Food Championships will feature a World Chef Challenge, pitting 48 great chefs in a skills, recipe and taste challenge unlike anyone's ever seen as they battle it out for their share of $50,000. At the end of the day, the winning chef will also win a seat at the WFC Final Table for a winner-take-all $75,000 as they try to impress a panel of celebrity judges with their ultimate dish of deliciousness!
