But none of us are quite as enthusiastic as Julie, the blogger who runs Nashville Food Truck Junkie, “the OFFICIAL fan blog for the Nashville Food Truck Association.” Not only is she busily and conscientiously keeping track of all the food trucks via a list on her blog, but she is posting reviews and updating news as well. If not for Julie, I would never have known that Nashville now has its own chicken and waffles truck, the Waffle Boss, that just hit the streets last week. Hello, red velvet waffle, get in mah belly!
This week, she also gave us the lowdown on the food vendor zones in downtown Nashville. Not everyone knows this, but food trucks can't just set up anywhere they please. And to sell on private property (office parks, most parking lots), they have to be invited. Like a vampire, albeit with happier results.
Keep up with the food trucks' locations (as well as other news, such as television appearances) on her blog and be sure to follow @FTJ_Julie on Twitter as well. You can also find out more information about many of Nashville's food trucks through the Nashville Food Truck Association's website.
