I drove by Pomodoro East, the new restaurant from chefs Willy Thomas and Joe Shaw in the space that was formerly Cooper's on Porter. I didn't have time to sample the fare, but I grabbed a menu. Since I haven't found a website for the restaurant yet, I figured a snapshot of the menu might be helpful for folks pondering a reconnaissance mission this weekend. There's a wide range of options, from brick-oven pizzas ($9 to $12) all the way to an 18-ounce wood roasted porterhouse for $32. I love that they offer half orders of pasta (ranging from $8 to $13), since that's typically plenty for for me.
