Two breweries, a new food truck, a new store and a new book.
This week Bites told you about Broadcast Brewing and Fat Bottom Brewing, shacking up in the former Fluffo Mattress warehouse on Main Street in East Nashville.
More pedestrian-friendly foot opportunities are on the way: Wrappers Delight food truck is throwing open the doors next weekend. Follow them on Twitter @WrappersDLite to find out where they'll be serving their Gangsta Grilled Caesar and Triple 6 Tilapia wraps.
Meanwhile, Foxy Baking Co. announced this week that it will move into retail space at Porter Road and Eastland Avenue, perhaps as soon as early February.
Finally, friend of Bites Lindsay Landis, also known as Love and Olive Oil, has a cookbook forthcoming, The Cookie Dough Lovers Cookbook.
And, really, who isn't a cookie dough lover? The tantalizing subtitle promises "Homemade (and Egg Free) Raw Cookie Dough." Publication is set for June, but you can preorder it on Amazon.
Now it's your turn: What food, restaurant or dining news did you hear — or make — this week? Open Thread has its listening ears on.
