Events Wine, Food & Film Returns to Belcourt

Sad as it is to watch the sun go away for the year, there's a very good purpose for darkness, and that's watching films.

This Monday, Nov. 14, is the debut night for the 2011-2012 season of Wine, Food & Film at The Belcourt Cinema. Wine and food at 6 p.m. — assess a sampling of Thanksgiving feast food from Whole Foods, and sip a white or red wine matched to the menu by Village Wines. (You'll have the opportunity to order Thanksgiving dinner and/or wine right there at the event — a perfect confluence of entertainment and efficiency.)

Then watch either the critically lauded Martha Marcy May Marlene, starring Elizabeth, the youngest of the Olsen sisters, or the 1950s James Dean classic Rebel Without a Cause at 7:30.

Tickets are $20 for Belcourt members, $25 for nonmembers.
