The cabin includes a small kitchen with a sparse pantry, but since supplies and car space were limited, we only made spaghetti one night and frozen pizza the next last year. This year I’d like to prepare something a little more palatable, but I’m drawing a blank on things that I can make without a stocked pantry, as well as inspiration.
The closest grocery store and restaurants are about 45 minutes away (not that we’d want to go to a restaurant anyway), so I’d like to pack everything in a cooler at home and not stop at any local groceries. I was wondering if you all have any suggestions about some slightly elevated meals that I could make with minimal ingredients, cooking space, and utensils. I’m thinking about possibly even measuring out dried ingredients at home and packing in Ziploc bags. Any thoughts, ideas?
