Food Blog Forum is coming to Nashville Oct. 8 at Lipscomb University's Ezell Center. Bloggers from across the country will convene to learn about and discuss relevant aspects of writing a successful food blog, including food styling and photography, how to develop and write up recipes, and how to market your blog and deal with publicists. The agenda doesn't show a session yet about dealing with anonymous trolls, but we wouldn't need anything like that around here, right Bitesters?
The all-day event only costs $125 and a limited number of advance tickets are available for only $99 if you register soon at the FBF website. If you already have your own food blog or you're just thinking of starting one, this will be a great opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.
The event is produced by Food Blog Forum with Jaden Hair of Steamy Kitchen, Todd & Diane of White On Rice Couple, Lindsay Landis of Love & Olive Oil, Beth Sachan of Eat.Drink.Smile. and Leah Short of So How’s it Taste. There will be an opening pre-party on Friday night at the Nashville Farmers' Market and a closing reception on Saturday night sponsored by The Patterson House.
It looks like a real bargain for $125 considering you get a full day of education, two parties, snacks during the day, a lunchtime sampling from some of Nashville's favorite food trucks and a swag bag full of goodies. Hope to see you there!
