We've talked quite a bit here on Bites about Moovers and Shakers, the milkshake truck started by Belmont students Ale Delgado and Hayden Coleman.

Just a quick update: The truck is finally roaming the streets, and was stationed earlier today on Belmont Boulevard near the intersection with Blair. Tonight they plan to do an evening shift until 8:30 at the rock-climbing gym Climb Nashville.

As seems to be often the way with food trucks, the Moovers and Shakers vehicle broke down shortly after arrival and needed some extra TLC (in this case, a plumbing overhaul). Now it's fresh and shiny and highly functional, with a temporary sign taped on the side.

New on the Moovers menu is a ginger milkshake using Delgado and Coleman's homemade ginger syrup. It's delicious and kind of sophisticated in flavor. Also popular: shakes made with Cheerwine, the unique cherry-caffeinated soda of the South.

Follow Moovers and Shakers on Twitter or Facebook and see their current menu on their website.
