Twitter? That's the Sound of Little Birds Building The Catbird Seat

A Goldberg brother takes a swing as demo begins for The Catbird Seat.
As we told you last week, the restaurant-happy Goldberg brothers (Paradise Park, Merchants) are building a new establishment atop their successful cocktail spot Patterson House.

I wrote a little more about the project this week in my Food Biz column in the Nashville Post section of today's City Paper, and in the process, I noticed that the Goldbergs and their company Strategic Hospitality are using a Twitter account, SHProjects, and a Tumblr blog to chronicle the process of converting the second floor of the house at 1711 Division from a former hair salon into their dream of a chic, intimate restaurant where two high-powered chefs will start holding court in the center of a U-shaped chef's bar sometime this fall.

On Wednesday, the Goldbergs tweeted their triumph of securing a building permit. Today, we got to see a little demo. Meanwhile, if you want to start getting to know the chefs who will man The Catbird Seat, you can follow Josh Habiger (aka @softarchitect, who returns to Nashville from other projects after helping launch Patterson House in 2009) and Erik Anderson (aka @airick72, who apparently is still in Denmark where he did a short stint at Noma, described by some as the best restaurant in the world).
