Events Food and Fun at East Nashville's fEASTival

Now you can add another date to your appointment calendar with this weekend's fEASTival, celebrating the independent spirit of East Nashville through music, art and food. The event will take over the Five Points neighborhood from noon until late on Saturday May 21. In addition to the Lightning 100 main stage and three other stages featuring local musical acts, there will be a Kid Zone with games and activities, a Street Festival and an Art Village.
Of most interest to Bites readers, there will also be a Food Village featuring opportunities to try samples from some of the areas favorite restaurants. Among the participating establishments are the new Moovers and Shakers mobile milkshake stand, late-night stalwart Pizza Buds, vegetarian heroes Wild Cow, Bangin' Tacos, Silly Goose, Nuvo Burrito, Pad Thai Kitchen and the much-anticipated debut of Boutique Burger Bar. The BBB's business plan still seems to be a bit in flux with promises of "pop-up" restaurants and eventually a bricks and mortar location, but this will be your first chance to check them out.
