News Highballs and Hydrangeas Canceled at Cheekwood Tonight

Gosh durn weather. Tonight's Highballs and Hydrangeas, the sold-out party at Cheekwood with cocktails, jazz and food from several great Nashville Originals restaurants, has been canceled. Here's the note that the Originals' Laura Hill has sent out:

Highballs and Hydrangeas tonight has been canceled because of storm damage at Cheekwood. A tree is down across the main drive, and power is out. The event has been tentatively rescheduled for May 6. Check for upcoming details on the Cheekwood website, www.cheekwood.org

Pass the word along so nobody gets all dressed up and drives out the Boulevard for no reason.
