It's Masters weekend, so there is very little chance of your local Wino Wandering too far from his big screen until the green jacket is awarded on Sunday. But if you're feeling a little more adventurous, odds are good that there's a wine tasting event with a few 3-woods of wherever you are in Nashville.

Next Wednesday, April 13, Grace's Plaza Wine & Spirits has a special guest joining them at a tasting at Rumours Art & Wine Bar on 12th Avenue South. Hans Czerny of Wimmer-Czerny will be sharing his biodynamically grown, award-winning wines from his Austrian winery that was founded in the 1700s.

Call 292-9400 for reservations to this evening which should prove to be quite entertaining. $15 per person

Amerigo-Cool Springs invites you to a Cycles Gladiator Wine Tasting next Tuesday, April 12, from 6-8 p.m. The winery is located in the heart of California's Central Coast and is famous for labeling their wines with a great Parisian art poster of the Cycle Gladiator Bicycle, painted in 1895 at the height of cycling's Golden Age.

Enjoy Chef Stephen's appetizers alongside the Cycles Gladiator Pinot Grigio, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. The cost is $15 per person. No reservations are necessary. Just pedal on down.

Amerigo-Cool Springs is at 1656 Westgate Circle in Brentwood.

As always, don't drink and drive. Or even putt.
