The refurbished VW “Leisure Bus” lives up to its name with a fridge stocked full of Cheerwine, a flat-screen TV, an Xbox, a surfboard and more. It's custom-painted outside (with waves and "Long Live Leisure") and upholstered inside.
Cheerwine seems to be doing a full-court press with their marketing in Tennessee. Cheerwine's Facebook page currently trumpets a Cheerwine party coming up in Nashville on Feb. 24. To get an invite, they want you to email firstname.lastname@example.org (with “fan party” in subject line).
I'd like to think that Bites had some influence in Rizzie's selection as winner of the party bus, but actually he was picked from the pool of 400,000 visitors to the Cheerwine Facebook page. The bus made about 100 stops around the South last year, piloted by the college-age kids of Cheerwine employees.
Dude, we raise our bottle to you! Now come pick us up.
