Sweet 16th is one of 16 "breakfast restaurants" that get feature treatment in the book, including
Daily Cafe in Portland, Ore.; Atlanta's Highland Bakery; Jack's Firehouse in Philadelphia; Hot Chocolate in Chicago, Ruby Slipper in New Orleans; and Hominy Grill in Charleston, S.C.
You know you want that recipe, and Einstein says that although the editors initially believed the Grittata recipe wouldn't work, after testing, they found it worked exactly as written.
The book will be available for purchase from the Williams-Sonoma catalog and stores on Feb. 15 and in other outlets April 20.

Congrats, Dan and Ellen! Hey! It's your biggest fan in Honolulu! We'll be back in July. See you then!
I'm heading to Nashville for a few days in Feb - I'll definitely be stopping by Sweet 16th for some treats!
PLEASE TELL ME THEIR QUICHE RECIPE IS IN THE BOOK! PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE!
(if you've had their quiche before you'll understand the need for all caps)
Yay Dan and Ellen!!!! Sweet 16th is my FAVORITE bakery (other than my own, in Memphis) and they have been so helpful- my true bakery bff's! And I seriously have dreams about the gritatta regularly. I never go to Nashville without stopping in!
Congratulations Dan and Ellen!! Not only do they make delicious, delicious food, they are just wonderful, lovely people. I cannot resist the Grittata! Every time I stop by, they just hand it over. After baking sweets all day, there is nothing better than cheesy grittata yumminess.
