Help Me Mitigate a Mistake, Dear Readers

So I decided to meet a friend out for drink last night in the midst of the snow to wait out the trafficopalyse. While I was walking from my parking spot to the bar, I thought to myself, "Y' know, I'd really like a good Manhattan."

As I approached the table, what to my wondering eyes should appear but a lovely highball full of brown goodness and the defining cherry. "Did you order yourself a Manhattan?" I asked. "With rye, I assume. Good, make it two." And post haste we were both enjoying a fine cocktail in a warm, clubby atmosphere. In fact, it was so nice, we each ordered another.

I know, it sounds like a happy story so far. Then the bills came. As far as I know, we'd ordered just a simple rye Manhattan. No name liquor or other special features were requested. So you can imagine our surprise when we each received a bill of $40 dollars for two drinks!

So here's the game, Bitesters. See if you can guess what bar in town serves a $20 Manhattan. If you come up with the right answer, I'll let you know. If you don't, it will remain a mystery for the ages like a bear trap hidden under fallen leaves.

How does this help me, you might ask? Well, the Scene certainly doesn't pay for my food and booze while I'm out and about searching for content to share with you here on Bites. But you can bet your sweet ass I'm gonna try to write that bar bill off on my taxes after using it as a subject for this post.

Thank you in advance.
