This week's installment kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20. The basic idea is something like a competitive wine tasting, where you strive to bring the wine that becomes the People's Choice in hopes that your team can take home a mother lode of premium juice.

Each team may consist of 1-3 people and is responsible for 3 bottles of the same wine. Your team's 3 bottles must fit within the designated wine category. When you arrive, two of your team's bottles will be opened, numbered, covered and set out to taste. The third bottle will be set aside for the winning stash. At the end of the night, everybody votes for their favorite (and least favorite) wine. The winning teams take home all of the unopened bottles. All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Middle TN.
This event's designated wine category is European reds.
The ticket price is $15, and tickets must be purchased in advance. There will be no sales the night of the event. This is a 21 and up event, and IDs will be checked at the door.
