"Six Nights of Love" is the brainchild of Mambu chef-owner Anita Hartel, charity coordinator Kathy Dozier and special guest kitchen genius and Nashville favorite Chef Deb Paquette. Totally unrelated to ex-mayor Bill Boner's "Seven Hours of Passion," Six Nights of Love is a series of special meals concocted by Chef Deb and the creative kitchen staff at Mambu. A four-course menu will be served for $40, and there will also be a cash bar available and wine pairings provided by some of Nashville's most generous liquor distributors.
A different charity will benefit from each evening's proceeds, with 25 percent of the evening's revenue being donated. Here's the schedule in case one of them is particularly near and dear to your heart:
Monday, Jan. 24: T. J. Martel Foundation with wine pairings from Athens Distributing
Tuesday, Jan 25: Urban Green Lab with wine pairings from Aleksey’s Imports
Wednesday, Jan. 26: The Belcourt Theatre with wine pairings from Tennessee Wine and Spirits
Thursday, Jan. 27: Second Harvest Food Bank with wine pairings from Best Brands
Friday, Jan. 28: YMCA Weaver Domestic Violence Shelter with wine pairings from Lipman Brothers
Saturday, 29: Harpeth River Watershed Association with wine pairings from Horizon
Dinner will be served from 5:30-9 p.m. each night. Seating is limited, so call 329-1293 for reservations as soon as you can.
