Yogurt Wars: Pinkberry Coming to Cool Springs

Posted By on Thu, Jan 13, 2011 at 6:37 AM

Wherever you go in Nashville, there's a frozen yogurt awaiting you: Pinkberry is planning a Cool Springs outlet.

Pinkberry's second Nashville-area location, at 3065 Mallory Lane in Franklin, will fling its doors open for business on Feb. 18. It's convenient to the Carmike Cinema for a little after-movie refreshment, and it's near Sweet and Sassy, the kids hair salon, making it an excellent bribe.

On Feb. 17, the evening before its opening, Pinkberry will quietly crack the doors with a soft opening featuring free yogurt.

I confess that, though I like the fluffy-creamy texture of tart yogurt, my first thought is, "What can I put on this to make it sweeter?" If there were a pecan pie topping, I'd be all over it. Not very West Coast of me, is it? So dish about what you Pinkberry regulars get, and why everyone should try it.

HT, for the news
