Sushi Master Masahiko Yanagihara to Offer Free Demonstration at Austin Peay This Friday October 30

In a "Worlds Collide" kind of event, the Consulate General of Japan based out of Nashville has invited noted sushi master and expert on Japanese cuisine, Chef Masahiko Yanagihara, to visit Middle Tennessee this week. in association with the Office of International Programs, the History Club, the Japan Foundation and the Consulate-General, Chef Yanagihara will make a visit to Austin Peay University in Clarksville to present a lecture and cooking demonstration of a variety of sushi forms and to discuss the many variations of one of the best known of all Japanese foods.

Best of all, guests will be able to enjoy a few samples of the sushi Chef Yanagihara prepares at this free event that is open to the public. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to see a real craftsman at work.
