Events Sausage Fest This Saturday at The Dog of Nashville on Belcourt

No, we're not talking about the usual "sausage-fest" that is the all-male crowd watching SEC Football games upstairs at the Sportsman's Grille in Hillsboro Village. This is Sausage Fest 2, the brainchild of Adam Deal and his staff at The Dog of Nashville, at 2127 Belcourt Ave. in the Village.

From 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday, you are invited to join the festivities as they celebrate all things sausage. Enjoy exotic links from around the world including varieties made from elk, alligator and wild boar. And, apropos of nothing, there will be live wrestling performed by the entertainers of S.A.W. But then again, why does everything have to be apropos of something?

For those of you (me) not in the know, S.A.W stands for Showtime All Star Wrestling, so expect to see some guys that look a little bit like this (pictured after the jump):

If one of them happens to wander into Savarino's by mistake, give Corrado a heads-up so he doesn't get coerced into naming a sandwich after the guy.
