Fish & Co. Restaurant & Raw Bar, the much-anticipated new seafood restaurant from Chef Louis Osteen and the Hospitality Development Group team behind Watermark and The Blind Pig No. 55, will officially unveil its menu of Charleston- and New Orleans-inspired dishes on Sept. 21. (The restaurant describes it as "a soft opening," but it made the announcement formal with a press release.) The new restaurant takes over the lavish space formerly occupied by Miro District in the Adelicia condominium complex.
The menu promises a panoply of regional Southeastern delicacies under $30, from Osteen's signature shrimp and grits to Florida grouper (with inland cameos such as Benton's bacon in a stuffed Blue Ridge rainbow trout). Of note also are a bar menu stocked with smaller plates, including beer-steamed shrimp and buttermilk biscuits with Benton's mouth-melting prosciutto, and a raw bar featuring littleneck clams and Gulf oysters, among other entries.
Full release posted after the jump.

Had dinner there last evening after visiting The Birth of Impressionism at The Frist. We had reservations @ 7:30 & were seated promptly. That's where being prompt ended. It was probably 10-15 minutes before seeing a server. We gave our wine & appetizer order & 20 minutes later, the wine was brought out. We waited another 20 minutes for our appetizer. Our dinner took an hour & 1/2 to be served, with no explanations. The food was delicious & if someone had just taken the time to explain the tardiness of the service, we might have understood. I hope they find a manager who will take the time to notify patrons if there is a problem causing the delay of their food. Might be back.
Very very bad. Do not waste your hard earned money... We have never been to this restaurant and drove by and it sounded like a great place to get some fish tacos. Once seated, the menu had very little fish choices on it. Actually, I landed up just having the Burger ordered medium. My husband had the Crab soup and the Shrimp and Grits. Soup came out and it was tasteless and only luke warm with a tinge of fishy smell. Then came the main order. Burger was cooked extra well done and was about the driest burger I have ever had. It was beyond bad. I hate McDonalds burgers, and I would have rather had a McDonalds burger. The Shrimp and Grits arrived and it looked like a TV dinner and was tasteless. Plus the shrimp was almost to the point of not being edible. Defiantly not fresh at all. With lunch, we had 2 beers and a coke. Total lunch was $70 for 2 people. This place is a high priced, crap food place. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
