Kick Up Your Heels at Boots, Bubbles and Barbecue Dinner at The Palm

This Friday, Aug. 6, at 6:30 p.m. you are cordially invited to to the fifth Annual Boots, Bubbles and Barbecue Dinner at The Palm. An adventurous barbecue menu has been created by Chef Lee Morris. The sparkling wines paired with this dinner complement the spirit of the menu and will be presented by wine connoisseur Michelle Rubarts with Horizon Wine and Spirits. If you've ever been to a wine dinner with Michelle, you know she has a great nose for pairings and is a lot of fun to share a drink with.

This event has sold out every year and promises to be a great time. Check out the menu after the jump:

Passed Hors d’oeuvres
Hand-dipped cornmeal batter shrimp with Bozzi BBQ sauce
Char-grilled kielbasa sausage with Jack Daniels’ mustard
Prime Sloppy Joe sliders with carrot and jalapeno slaw
The Ultimate Nova Scotia Lobster Nacho Bite
Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut

Appetizer
Knife-and-fork baby back rib platter with chipotle and maple glaze
Served with cole slaw and baked beans
Lo Duca Lambrusco Di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene

Salad
Smoked chicken salad with Tennessee country ham, Danish bleu cheese, apples, pecans, grilled red onion, rocket arugula and balsamic vinaigrette
La Marca Prosecco

Entrée
"Carpet Bag" steak — a 14-ounce, 21-day-aged filet mignon stuffed with fresh oysters and wild mushrooms; served with sliced local heirloom tomatoes, squash casserole and skillet cornbread
Domaine Carneros Brut Rose

Dessert
Summer fruit and berry cobbler; served warm with roasted peach and Kentucky bourbon and gelato
Rosa Regale

Reservations must be made prior to the dinner.
