Last week, Bites staff spent an agonizing couple of hours watching good things come out of Savarino's kitchen to be placed in front of eager patrons and .... "Let's do that again," the director of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives would say.
Over and over, for three hours. Tempting food, passing by. No wonder TV people are so thin.
We understand that, besides Savarino's, DD&D went to Martin's, Arnold's and Athens Family restaurant. This week, a second DD&D crew was in town shooting another three restaurants. And no, we weren't able to wheedle the names out of the crew. But maybe one of you knows.
But the biggest news of the week was the new look of Bites — bigger type and clean graphics for easy reading. And you can preview your comments, too, before lettin' 'em fly. Let us know what you think.
