Sometimes we here at Bites can't always get our acts together on short notice (and by "we" I mean "me.") Luckily, the organized folks at the Ulika BBQ blog have seized upon our commenters' suggestion to create an NCAA tourney-style burger war.

They have set up a pool of 64 great Nashville burger joints and are inviting you help pick a champion. Go over there and help some lucky fry cook experience their "One Shining Moment." We'll try to keep you posted on the results.

so come on people are you excited about this or not? this topic seemed to draw so much controversy before that I thought I would at least have someone bitching about such and such getting to low/high of a seed.

Man, how are we supposed to play if we haven't eaten all 64 burgers? I don't know if I can squeeze all the uneatens in before tomorrow.

I had a burger from Dalt's last weekend and I can honestly say it was a huge dissapointment. I predict an early upset.

I've had most of the burgers on this list, but not head-to-head. Does that count? Can I still vote? Morton's and Corner pub is an inspired seeding, by the way. That CP burger is tremendously good. I aven't had the Morton's burger in about 10 years so I can't remember it well.

anyone can vote and you will not have to vote for every matchup. Just vote for your favorites.

Also, I greatly await vastly-overrated burger joints Brown's and Fat Mo's demise!
BUSTER BURGER ALL THE WAY!
