Wine Wandering Wino: Count Drunkula Edition

On Monday, Jan. 25, September's in Hendersonville will host an exclusive Italian wine tasting with Count Capponi, owner of Villa Calcinaia Vineyards in Tuscany. The land and agriculture has been owned and in production since 1524 by the Capponi family. Read more about the winery here.

Grace's Plaza Wine and Spirits invites you to come and see them at the "Heart & Soul" Event on Jan. 30. The event will be at the Werthan Lofts in Germantown 7-11p.m.
According to their announcement, "Werthan residents are excited to open up a fresh variety of lofts to tour this year, showcasing the architecture that is Nashville's unique treasure: Restored pine floors, exposed brick and beams, unique artifacts from the factory's past, 20 foot ceilings and private penthouse decks. Again, we'll feature a large variety of wines and microbrew beers as well as hors d'oeuvre from your favorite local restaurants and live music to take in while you meander through the lofts.
Remember that the event benefits the American Heart Association, a group dedicated to reducing the prevalence of our nation's number one and number three killers: Heart Disease and Stroke. The AHA has taken on such lofty goals as reducing coronary heart disease and stroke risk by 25% by 2010."
Sounds like a fun evening of snooping in strangers' drawers. Count me in!
Tickets go for $35 per person in advance and $50 per person on the day of the event (buy your tickets early).
Proceeds help support the American Heart Association.
