Good Food for Good People Dinner at Fido Oct. 9

Good Food for Good People--the nonprofit organization behind the West Nashville Farmers' Market--will host a seven-course dinner at Fido on Oct. 9, starting at 7:30 p.m.

The $50 admission, plus proceeds from wine and beer, will benefit Good Food for Good People's programs to promote improved access to local, healthy and sustainable food in Nashville.

Paella with Spicy Sausage, Crawfish, and Chicken

Roasted Mushroom Soup with Caramelized Leek and Onion

and Creme Fraiche

Handmade Pizza with Fuji Apples, Arugula, Mozzarella

and Country Ham

Warm Roasted Red and Gold Beets with Feta Cake & A Local Honey-Caramel Vinaigrette

Pumpkin Gnocchi with Sage Brown Butter and Pumpkin Seed Encrusted Shrimp

Braised Spare Rib with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Field Peas

Chocolate Port and Porter Cake with Lemon Glaze and Warm Coffee Creme Anglaise

Carrington, on fido's website it looks like the ticket for this event may not actually include beer and wine in the $50 but it still sounds like a fabulous value!
