Speaking of kids, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee are the beneficiaries of three Vintner Dinners planned to kick off the Franklin Wine Festival. Presented by Cool Springs Wines & Spirits and supported by Nissan North America, the festival culminates with the Grand Tasting on Oct. 24, 7:00 p.m., at The Factory in Franklin, Tenn.
The Vintner Dinners pair gourmet cuisine with superior wine selections from award winning vineyards. Dinners offer multiple courses with a different wine selected to complement each course.
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 2525 West End Ave., Nashville, will host the first Vintner Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 6:30 pm. Cost is $125 per person. We'll pass on the details of the rest of the dinners as the dates approach. We know how busy your social calendar can get.
Drink safe!
