Foods Randy & Julie & Julia: Sunset Grill and Midtown Cafe Salute Julia Child

In one of the sharpest promotions we've seen of late, Randy Rayburn sent word that his Sunset Grill and Midtown Cafe will feature beef bourguignon at lunch and dinner all month in tribute to Julia Child (see clip above). This makes a natural fit with the promotion both restaurants are already offering: 15 percent off your meal through Aug. 31 when you show your ticket stub from Julie & Julia.
Why is this so well timed? Just this morning, Mrs. Pink--who hasn't wanted to see a movie since Tom & Nic were an item--said she wanted our first date night of the new millennium to be Julie & Julia. And in the next breath, she said, "We'd better get dinner first. We'll be starving." Wonder how many (hundreds of) others tonight will be thinking along the same lines.
